Concord Tools
I've put together a couple of small utilities for use with the Concord. The Shuffler and the Lists work with both the old Windows 95 version of Concord and the new Concord Desktop.
Also, I've figured out how to get the old Windows 95 Concord to run on Linux using the Wine Windows Emulator. You can read more about it here.
The De-Spacer
The De-Spacer strips excess spaces from your old DOS & Mac Notebook files for import into the new Concord. It also removes blank lines and separates compound citations.
The Shuffler
The Shuffler is a random citation generator that picks citations from any or all of the books found in Concord, and lists them. Mrs. Eddy often found inspiration by opening her Bible at random, taking in whatever truth her eye rested on. But she probably had a big Bible that opened easily to any page in any book. Whenever I do it, I land somewhere in Psalms or "Footsteps of Truth", not that that's bad. The Shuffler is not a "Quote of the Day" thing, choosing citations pre-programmed by a person. The citations are truly random and you can select the books you want, and how many citations to make, etc. Try it!
The Lists
The Lists: various items not referenced anywhere in the Concord interface. The lists are alphabetized and will give you the citation in Concord's Search Box format.
